Mattawan is about 15 minutes away from Kalamazoo. It's a really small town...we have three gas stations and that's about it

yeah. i started listening to them in high school and it was exactly the thing that i needed to hear. and because of that i heard other bands like pavement and dinosaur jr...and i even went backwards to minor threat and the ramones. i owe my entire taste in music to sebadoh. i've since met lou barlow a couple times and seen them and folk implosion play a bunch. and i do an internet radio show that is hugely influenced by sebadoh. they certainly changed my life. without them i might be listening to late 80's metal.

Me too. This has been my absolute favorite for years.
