okay, so the second benefit might be: if ames comes to seattle to do a reading, the store at which i toil is on top of the list to get him because the person who books such things knows what a fan i am...or am i (both sound good). therefore, i may be allowed to tell a roomful of people how much i love jonathan ames. this i have done before. but, never with jonathan ames actually IN THE ROOM!
