So last night my friend and I had this brilliant idea to take advantage of the rare SF weather we had yesterday and setup an outdoor theatre in another friends backyard. It was so great! We took a couple long PVC pipes and fastened a bedsheet to them lengthwise, then secured our makeshift "screen" with some rope. Add a video projector that I borrowed from work, some cheapo computer speakers with a kickin' subwoofer and -boom- we were in business. Here's how it looked:

The screen may seem a little small in perspective, but it was actually really nice. Our first screening: "American Movie". OMG that is a funny movie.
Tonight I think we're going to watch "Road to Bali" or something like that in honor of the dearly departed Mr. Hope.
Movies under the stars. Definitely the way to go.
