Ah, awesome. They're really not bad speakers (they actually came from a bigscreen tv that my parents got with their new house cos the last owner was too lazy to move it out), but they're not really good for DJ'ing, which is why I went with the floor monitors.
Anyways, I upgraded the woofers in there by hand, as one of them was blown when I got the speakers. The tweeters should be fine, and they generally sound pretty good until you try putting an assload of bass through them. =) They're just regular cabinet speakers (about 2.5' tall, 1' deep).
And yeah, I dunno about the 16th... I'm pretty bad about making any type of plans in advance. I'll let you know, though.... I definitely wanna make it out if I can. =)

It turns out I might have to go to missouri the weekend of the 16th for my grandfather's 70th birthday (which is why I haven't rsvp'd for the cookout yet). I'll probably end up trying to do both things in one weekend again, and being all crazy-strung-out by the end of it. =)
