Hey - Did you submit a story for the politics newswire last night? I'm almost positive that I saw you had submitted one and I was going to edit it when I got up this morning - and now it isn't there anymore. If that's the case I think it may be some kind of bug, so please let me know ASAP, and if you have the text saved somewhere, please submit it again if you could.
Edit: Also, don't feel too bad about submitting stories and people not being interested - I haven't quite figured out why some topics interest poeple and others don't either - some of my best researched stories have gotten one or no comments, while others that I wasn't particularly interested in got like 70. People are fickle. It's cool that you keep writing and submitting things though.
it does get hard sometimes doesnt it.. and i know what yu mean about the "how can an aussie comment on the us" thing.. but what can you do, atleast you're and intelligent person who has an opinion and will be heard..
we still have trouble with the lurkers in the SGAU group, someone should boot em.. give me the grits..

I must be going insane imagining newswire submissions that then disappear the next day. I tested it and there's no bug to speak of. Oh well. We have another politics editor now, who's got some experience, so it should help out the section considerably.
...the only reason I want to add you as a friend is because you're the only SG member I've come across who lists GBV in their "fav bands" section. I think we're a dying breed...
Don't stop contributing to the news sections!! The effort will pay off. It is good practice for your writing skills and the editors will eventually get paid. And yeah you are not an editor, but it's only a matter of time before an editor gets zotted or leaves the site. So keep at it!!
