you can have delightfully odd things like this happen to you too. it's all about doing things that are completely illogical.
i met a person online & they were so beyond awesome that i flew from ny to visit them. in seattle. because 1) it's only $200 round-trip & i already had the 3 days off, 2) he mailed me oatmeal cookies for christmas that were killer and, 3) i don't subscribe to societal norms that don't have sound logical backing.
"don't talk to strangers," "spend your money wisely," and "don't travel all the way across the US over a boy" all sound like really sound advice that i won't regret utterly dismissing when i'm telling tales of my adventures to the grandkids, ya dig?
