I listened to you right away. Waitress was on cable the very night you insisted I see it! No kidding!
I found it to be slow moving....I was expecting something different. I mean, she was more a pie mistress is what the focus was, not really waitress. BUT! I LOVED Andy Griffith! He was so TRUE as "that" annoying customer...right on the money. I loved him and was so touched by his card inscription and wow, he wound up changing the entire story. I was very pleased that she put her money into her own place and stayed a waitress. It was very cute.
Onto Zodiac....you said all of the outside scenes were CGI? HMMMM? I have no idea, give me the scoop. I'm most intrigued.
I almost wanted to cry over the card a second time...I've had so many customers like that when I was a waitress...really endearing. Kind of reminded me of the waitress/crochety old man scenerio in As Good As It Gets.
I like the way the pies look! I want a blueberry pie....or a quiche, either or. The one in the beginning with brie cheese looked soooooooooo good.
Fuck, I've never seen Zodiac STRAIGHT from the beginning. The closest I've caught it is when Darlene is waiting for the car to leave. Only like 3 minutes, right?
It's a shame this woman didn't get to see the release of her movie.
i'm not sure i'd trust flying with oceanic. i heard they charge for their peanuts!
and about my job, the problem with trying to get it back is i dont know how many positions they are hiring for. there were about 30 of us who got laid off from my position, and i dont know how many of them are reapplying, so i dont know what my chances are
Haha... if I was better at photoshop I would attempt to create such a crazy gay clown cowboy.
I watched the preview for Chapter 27. It seems pretty interesting. I'm about to bittorrent it now actually. I'll let you know what I think once I watch it.
Geoffrey Rush is indeed good. Nope, never seen Shine.
The Candy girl was Abbie Cornish. I thought it was strange for it to be named after her when I felt that Dan was more the star of the whole thing. I thought his acting was pretty much incredible...he was just a believable guy. The birthing scene was totally crushing. And I liked how it was set in "heaven" and "hell"....interesting concepts of both.
So Ennis, I've been meanin' to ask ya - what's your favorite Batman film? Ha! My personal favorite is Batman Forever; it's a nice, brainless, flim-flammery of a good time. It's my favorite film ever. Of all time. Val Kilmer was the best Batman, you know. I think we've known each other for a long enough time, so I'll humbly give you a tour of my deep East TX "living zone."
I was being sarcastic, but ambilvilent 'cause in my mind I know it's not sarcasm in the least. Wonder what life would be like if I went without seeing The Dark Knight. I was pullin' your chain with regard to your favorite Batman flick.
