Now that the temps have dropped it's much more pleasant to go out on photo hikes. A few more colder nights oughta take care of the mosquitos as well! I decided to sell my Sony gear after I picked up the Panasonic G9. I guess I'm a Panasonic fanboy at heart since all of my prior video gear was all Panasonic. So at this point I have a Panasonic G9 for stills, Panasonic G85 for vlogging/run n gun video, and a Panasonic G7 for in studio video. Some time down the line I may even pick up a Panasonic GH5 but it's a bit more advanced than what I need at the moment. Plus, I need to get a few more lenses before I get another body. I've been reading about them, watching videos, and just playing to familiarize myself with everything. I think I'm at a good point to start seeking out models for actual shoots again.
That said, if you're in the Virginia Beach area (or anywhere in Virginia or upper North Carolina for that matter) and you're interested in shooting . . . reach out to me. I'm up for just about anything. Let me know your ideas and we can get together and create some amazing stuff. My job that pays for all of this gear takes me all over both states on a regular rolling basis so I know we can figure out a time to meet up.
