Don't stress too much about it: I say that lightly but I do mean it. Taking work home is bad and should be avoided where possible. Don't winge too much about HR, use the usual buzzword terms like "the situation is understandable but it is proving a strain on manpower and morale" etc etc.

i watched the first few episodes of the shield then gave up , its the same with 24 aswell , im soo behind the times

although if you really want to get some crap cleared (might be too late to arrange this) ask for a volunteer who'll come in an hour or two late and stay behind with you so's you can at least do something vaguely cosmetic to the place.
