Due to my third committee member going MIA a few months ago and just getting a replacement a month ago my chair told me an early spring defense would be best, so the carrot gets a longer stick. I understand and it makes sense, but having this damn paper done makes me want to be done so I can quit using it as an excuse to hold myself back like I do. So yeah, it kinda sucks, but it makes sense too so theres that.
Fricking Phillies have to ruin my off season of Baseball. As a Braves fan I really hate that Cliff Lee signed with the Phils who already had 3 really good pitchers to begin with. Now I know this is all on paper, and that these pitchers are human and beatable, but that starting roatation is stacked, and suddenly I find myself wishing injury on fellow human beings, oops.
My Braves might have to make a couple moves, but I think we are headed in the rght direction, and having our rookies face great pitching has to be good fo them in a way as well, getting tested early on and whatnot, so yeah this baseball season could be interesting.
LG better have sent my stand body out by now, and it best show up soon, I want to see what the new one looks like and how cool it is dangnabbit.
I gotta get my Christmas shopping done too, just have Dad an Mom so that shouldn't be to bad, other than I never know what to get Dad, still shouldn't be to bad.
Looks like I will have to work Christmas eve and day and New Years Eve and day which kinda sucks for me as far as celebrating and revelry, but the holiday pay will be really nice to have when those pay checks roll around, so we shall see what happens, but yeah it's looking like I will have to work. In reality the only one that would be really nice to have off is NYE, see the folks and I do presents on Christmas morning so that would be done bevfore I go to work so I wouldn't miss out on the family stuff there, just the dinner out at my aunt and uncles which sucks.
Guess dad wasn't thinking when he brought in the turkeys he smoked yesterday, he put them in the garage to cool off and whatnot and today when I let Ben out he went throught the dog door in the garage and had a hell of a snack apparently. Guess he got about half of one and a drumstick off another. heh heh heh I wondered what he was doing when he was in mom's flower bed and then rooting around in the snowbank, musta been burying turkey. Heh heh heh crazy dog.
