Aw it's not fair, you're making me feel even more gutted that I'm missing out now! Basically, I would absolutely love to go to the Manchester meet-up except:
1) Have to be in Hartlepool to see my old man the next day.
2) I don't finish work until half five out in Harrogate and have absolutely no idea what time the Harrogate-Leeds trains run.
3) I don't know when I'm getting paid this week. If it's Wednesday then I might have a long shot at trying to get to this thing. Any later than that and my account will still be empty meaning anything that involves spending money is a definite no-no.
But in the very unlikely event I manage to wrangle something in my favour, you'll be the first to know. Not least because if I do go I could use someone to get the same train in as rather than wandering around a city I hardly know all by myself.

PS Any more news on whether you can come to the Dead Pets gig yet. C'mon, you know you wanna... (see, I can do the whole persuasion thing too!! )

You're definitively right, taking care of friends is sooo important. so easy to loose them. I sometimes think they are my real family.
