Hello imaginary land!!
so I was thinking about the politics and how much we are being forced to take part of it; doing some search on books, i found this man. In 1846, David Thoreau decide not to pay bills :0 he was against the war with mexico and said, i wont pay for it. Obviously they took him to jail.
how many times we have felt like David, fighting inside and out with determination, to not let them choose your life and believes, positions in wars and way of thinking.
After the time David Thoreau was in jail, he wrote a book that Should be obligation in schools for kids, "civil disobedience " (many years after, those book were critical for Gandhi, who read it in jail and martin Luther king ) it teach us that the government, doesn't have more power than the one we gave them. If the government is nasty, murder and so and so, our duty is not to defend it. We don't have to use violence, no even have the need to go to the streets, it would be enough to call the civil disobedience and we will win any war.
Many times, we, the ones that are out site the jails are the calms, the salves. that's why David Wrote this:
Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also a prison.
