Some stuff is just going to suck living there. Other stuff you are going to love. Try to go to the Sequoia National Forest if you can. I used to love camping up there in the more secluded spots. We used to catch rainbow trouts like crazy and cook them up.

You'll be fine! I made that move about 2 years ago (from Texas, and with my pup too!) and am finally setting in and loving it. CA has TONS of gorgeous places outdoors to explore too! We missed you this weekend at Shootfest but hopefully for the next NorCal event you can make it out!
I can't even imagine how tough it's gotta be to do something so big like this move, but I'm sure you'll get through it no problem. Hell, if it starts wanting to make a problem for you, then you fucking kick it, you kick it right in the ass! Also, the new set is honestly one of my favorite sets pretty much ever.
