As for Indy, I actually missed it! I know. Shock horror! It is the first race I have missed all year, but a few things made it easier to deal with.
1) We were working on the XB
2) It is a street circuit (which shit me)
3) I was sick of wasting my Sundays in front of the tv.
As much as I regret not watching (i love my v8's) I'm glad we got the old girl running.... even if she died soon after.

Her running gear sounds great. Does she have matching numbers? Berry does. Thus the plans for a 351 are temporarily on hold. I see the worth in a restored car with matching numbers right now. She gets resprayed in Nov. Hopefully. Must russle up the cash for that.
Bikes are much better on the fuel, but big old muscle is hot. Berry will be on 14's. She has 6" Bathurst Globes, which restricts how wide the tyres can be.. I want to get as wide as I can... 235's are desired, but I really think I'm going to have to settle for 225's. Fronts are 205's.
She needs a 9" diff. Trying to source one for a decent price atm. LSD is sitting in my garage, ready to go in. She needs major rust repair, I need to sand the roof (old vinyl), get new springs (she is too low. and I mean waaaaay to low!) Did I mention I want extractors? Actually, I need extractors.

If you have a car, there are some amazing things to see. The Glasshouse Mountains are a fave of mine!
Maleny Cheese (because cheese rocks) lots of markets and stuff. The art gallery is pretty good too.
I am up to see the sun rise. We have a view of the mountain ranges from here, and I love watching it.
I dont need much sleep. A couple of hours at best.
