I worked 10 hours at the restaurant today, and the storming was bad enough that we could hear the thunder over the noisy restaurant, and people said the local roads were flooding. Also, our roof leaked in various places, making many of our tables unusable. My parents were supposed to go on a weekend canoe trip this weekend, but cancelled. They're pretty hard core with the camping in rain, so you know it must be bad if they cancel a trip.
What is a sprogfree group? I guess I should go look.
I need more friends over 30 too. Or at least more friends over 27. Hell, I'd settle for more friends over 25.
i watched 4 soccer games this weekend. in between i saw a really pretty girl with a giant tree tatooed on her back swinging from a pole doing pole tricks. the strip clib was fun. i hadnt been there for 4 months. it was overdue. now i am writing to you.
i also picked some basil from little back yard planter box and made my first batch of pesto of the season. i used it to sauce the bowtie pasta icooked on sunday. does teena like pesto?

I realized that before I moved that I should be around people more my age, especially since now I am a "grown up" with little chicklets. It is weird though I joined a twin group here in the suburbs and even though I guess I don't look my age (dress my age is more like it) all of the people there were a bit younger then I am but all acted really old. I think it depends where you live. People in the suburbs seem to get bored and grow up a little faster (well mature, get married, have kids, buy homes, get a norm 9-5 job, all that crap that is expected but not always wanted) While people in the city seem to still go out and have fun in their late 20's...I knew of very little people my age that had or want kids anytime soon.
Ok I rambled..but yeah going out with people more your age is always refreshing (while hanging out with people younger is sometimes nice too) Soo really I don't have a point.
I cleaned, went shopping for formula and diapers...oh and got pizza..normal weekend.

My weekend consisted of: A very exciting date that started off very romantic, then found its way to bloodshed, the emergency room, and some staples, and finally concluded with me waking her up in the middle of the night to make sure she didn't lose consciousness. You know all of this already. Then, my Saturday was spent at Jellopalooza II, listening to a bad cover band and lots of frat boys getting drunk. It slowly devolved into me wrestling some other derby girls in lime jello, eventually ending up pretty much naked...oh, and KICKING ASS. My Sunday consisted of some Atlantic City gambling with the cute girl, Gadget, and pinch. I'm pretty sure that he and texappeal had themselves a bonding experience at the blackjack tables. Good times. Sorry you asked?
