actually it was sixtyfootqueenie who paid me the complement I referred to in my journal - the reply she posted to my comment was more tongue-in-cheek than anything.
It's been quite a while since I last saw you (a year and a half, maybe two years?) - you'd probably be quite surprised to see how much i've calmed down (and how much things don't get to me anymore - such a waste of energy!)
yeah, things are pretty great - work's good, my personal life is good, and I've grown up a ton in the last 10 months... onward and upward, can't wait to see what's going to happen.
