Its one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to in my entire life, and I'm not just saying that because I'm part Croat, I truely believe it. Oh, and by FAR the best women in Europe imo.
I was in Sibenik this summer, on the Dalmatian coast and Dubrovnik. I went through Split on the bus, but we weren't able to stay. I just have a friend move there, so when I go this summer I will be heading out there hopefully to see a Hajduk game.

Honestly, you are starting a new life with a clean slate, in a new place at a new college and now is the best time to make this move.
