hmmm...If it was my friends I would say...uh yeah...I'm pissed. That's a pretty shitty thing. Haven't they ever heard of the Kool-Aid rule? They have to ask you before they try one your kool-aids (exes or current hook-ups)...I'm not really explaining myself very well right now. I'm a tiny bit inebriated. Anyway. It's a courtesy thing. You could still not be over him and that's just rude of your friends to hurt you like that. I dunno. That's just how I am I guess. Most of my friends have dated the same guys as me and it's not really a big deal after I've had some time to get over him. Ya know? You might have broke up with a guy but you still feel a little possessive. You WERE close with him after all at one point obviously....and obviously you had feelings for him at one time or another. Anyway...I'm rambling. haha. I would say trust your instincts. Yours sound spot-on in this situation plus girls usually have better intuition and know pretty much what's going on. Good luck with the new guy, though.
btw. if you ever come to mississippi within the next couple of months or North Carolina anytime after that we definitely have to shoot a multi together because you are THE cutest hopeful I've ever seen. For sure! If either of us isn't an SG by then. Hopefully we both will be soon!
That is so cheesy on their part--I mean, really, no class whatsoever. It's much more of a commentary on them than it is you, but you're entitled to feel any way you want to without apology as far as I'm concerned.
You should tell them how you feel--not over the top, but just a simple expression of your disappointment in their behavior. Otherwise it's going to keep on eating at you.
