brynji:
Quite honestly, I really didn't like Signs...I thought the plot was really under-developed, and it was kind of...well...cheesy.

I do the same thing, I think it's the y-chromosome that makes us do it.

I used to live right down the street from a golden corral, but I haven't been there for years.

Well, I suppose if I had blood constantly leaking from an orifice (spell check), I'd be pretty unhappy as well.

Yeah, my girlfriend put all of her artwork in our apartment- it is a nice touch.

Clay gollums...I'd like to see the finished product.

Set ideas? Like what? Inquiring minds want to know!

Oh, man, I hate talking birds, usually, they're really pretty birds, but holy shit, they're annoying.

Yeah, new pets are exciting, one of these days, my profile pic will be of my cat... all in due time.

Ah, homesickness, makes you realize how much your home really doesn't suck....how long have you been in Florida anyway?

Why not a fake girl? I think It'd be funny if you had a set with a blow-up doll.

I used to write all the time...then my well ran dry. If you've still got stuff to put on paper, then do it now.

Hmmm...artistic fulfillment or a securtiy deposit? What a painful decision...

Excellent...that much stuff goes through your mind at once?
edea:
you know I'd LOVE to do a set with you!!!

someday.

I have a friend that has like black and white walls.. and he paints some of his poetry on the cieling. It's very neat and I'm jealous.

Speaking of dogs, last night I had this dream that this lady called me to get this medical information for this CPR class I had taken and I was looking for the information to give it to her and I walk in our living room and there's my little Jack Russel-Corgi mix WITH TWO LITTLE BABIES! AND HE'S A BOY!

I cannot explain with words how confused I was throughout this dream... surreal

I found Signs disappointing. What's the deal with aliens scoping out the Earth for thirty years for invasion and not realizing it's 2/3 covered with water?
bionicfemme:
Awww! I love your bird.

I need a bird so I can teach it to say obscenities. Then I can call all the people I hate and have the bird curse angrily at them. Mwahahahaha!!!!
butterfly2:
You are such a doll! Oh my goodness!

Hehe dn't you love that pic of the kitties? More funny stuff to be up soon.

WOW! New puppy? Congratualtions! I was really hoping for one but my parents are ready yet. tongue

Oh yah, when it's "that" time, I'm awful. I feel awful, i can't move, i break out, and i'm a BITCH. And then I cry like a damned river.

I agree with Bfemme. I want a bird so I can teach it to say COCK and Vag and Hump Me and stuff smile
butterfly2:
PS i changed my profile pic to super dork

I saw Signs on the long flight from Singapore to Paris. Although I'd heard and agreed with criticism of Shyamalam's general loss of script quality and appearance of just riding on the coat-tails of his amazing entry into the film world with The SixthSense, he STILL knows how to chill you. My favourite scene is the one where a home video from a childrens party in Brazil and how they all scream when the alien crosses their garage. that freaked me out. The hand in the coal chute grabbing the son, the leg in the corn field too. SO Shyamalam can still scare you. On the other hand, the whole faith in God-losing wife-dysfunctional family thing and his really annoying habit of putting himslef in his own films just bugs the f*** me. Perhaps he should stop trying to be so deep, simplify the story and just straight up do his own Blair Witch Project because Shyamalam has horror/scare timing like other people are complimented for comedic timing. Perhaps a screen adaptation of The Dunwich Horror by HP Lovecraft.
mirkwoodmaiden:
we should name this story "A day in the Mind of Tatum" biggrin

know what? i didn't like signs as much. it was entertaining and well directed, but it lacked in believablity. first off, if those aliens were so smart, why would they come to earth if they are allergic to water? and why would they need people? we would kill them. we're mostly water. and a couple other things that i don't remember. good movie, just not good enough to buy in my opinion. my suggestion is to drop everything and buy (don't rent) julien donkey-boy. goodbye.
catsmeow:
i too loved Signs... creepy. good ol' fashion creature feature stuff. wonder what he's working on now.

I think you sound like a soccer mom on a cell phone if you use the phrase "multi-tasking"...
