So I am back in town for what might be for good. I still have an opportunity to continue to drive for PRIME INC. but I am not so sure I will take it. I figured that after a few days at home I will know which way I will go.
I have lots of friends in Austin, but it really doesn't feel like it at the moment. No one is available to come out and play... and most of them are too busy hanging out elsewhere to come hang out with me. Things did exactly what I expected them to do... they smoothly moved on without me around. And now that I am back I feel like a 3rd wheel or something. Like, "HEY! remember me? Can I like be your friend?" It sucks.
Not that I expected this whole welcoming crew.... just that I expected people to be excited that I am coming home.
Maybe this is what it is like for Carlos. And maybe for anyone who is gone from home months at a time. Things just don't hesitate while you are gone.
