Pete has decided that I shouldn't answer the phone any more after I told him my room service story from last night:

Phone rings
me: good evening room service, Jeni speaking how can I help you?
caller: hi I'd like to order some food
me: ok, now is this Mr Willis in room 63?
caller: wow you're on the ball!
me: (serious voice) well it is psychic day here in the restaurant today!
caller: *loud laughing*
caller: you're not going to be charging me 1 a minute are you?
me: damn I can't believe you figured it out so quickly, I was going to try and keep you talking *giggle*
caller: *more loud laughter*
me: ok Mr Willis what can I get for you?
caller: blah blah blah
me: ok so thats blah blah blah going to room 63
caller: yup thats right
me: that should be around 30-45 minutes
caller ok then
me: oh before you go would you like me to predict tomorrows weather?
caller: hahaha yea sure
me: well tomorrow it will be sunny, although it might rain! *giggle*
caller *loud laughing* wow you're like the perfect weather person
me: *giggle* thanks, ok bye
caller: yea bye lots of love!!
end of call

Lol Pete asked my why I do it and to be honest i can't help myself! I have no self control when I'm bored!!

I had to explain to my boss what suicidegirls was without saying "soft porn", it was tough!

If you can't talk nonsense on the phone to customers at work when can you talk nonsense? Espcially as the number of friendly customers in the world seems to be shrinking daily, make hay why the sun shines I say.

I get like that when I spot a word the reminds me of something else. Start talking to people like they have all the same reference material floating around their head that I do. It gets me some odd looks.
