I've been a busy bee this last month! Spent quite a lot of time in the country...lucky me

We had a company conference in the Drakensburg which ended up being a lot more fun than I thought it would be. Scenery down there is beautiful...


I joined the Social Committee in order to avoid doing teambuilding and ended up being roped into getting my gansta on and doing a karaoke number to Ice Ice Baby... Oh yeah thats how I roll....




Yeah I work with a bunch of weirdos...
We did make the ballroom look pretty though... yup that was my hard work...


And then I proceeded to drink copious amounts of red wine and hang with the boys, cause well that's what you do at Company Conferences


I regretted it the next morning though when I met my mom for breakfast with the hang over of the century (they live 5 mins away from the hotel so it was unavoidable) and then we had a 6 hour drive back to Joburg.

I then got to go and hang with Talamia, Xaosnyte, Lumo, Cuddlefish and co for 5 days in the Midlands, which is like an hour away from where we were for Conference It was beautiful and super fun. I needed the break!














Talamia tries her hand at chopping wood for the fire. It was fucking cold!




We also indulged in her latest obsession...table top games. We tried out some new ones

Went to Rawdons and visited the local brewery


Of course Talamia and I found cats


I got to see Lumo and Cuddlefish










I also got to briefly meet the lovely Gitane, Arroia and to see Vassilis again.
Despite the fact that we had absolutely no cell phone reception and no internet access at all while we were there, it was an awesome get away. In fact it was probably more relaxing knowing that no-one could get hold of me for once lol.
I was pretty sad to go back to work this week....
but this made me feel better



God I love that man!!!!
