since my dad is a doc they sent me to the neurologist first off, he my dad didnt think anything was wrong with me, just did it to shut me up, i was put on over 15 meds over 2 months, i had an mri done, they found nothing, and none of the meds worked, so they put me on zoloft, as a "migraine prevention drug" and well, where it made me "forget" the pain was there it didnt really help, and actually caused more problems... i have actually recently tried the nasal spray, it helps a little, but i usually just go to sleep when i take it so who knows... maxalt i think is the only rx i had any relief with and only if i took it before the migraine would flare up, maybe they will come out with something really good in the very near future
