Flogging Molly dedicated this song to their friends. The song has pretty much stuck with me since then.

You see, people look at me at think I have a lot ... somet think I have "it all" ... whatever that means. But all in all, my friends are all that's important to me (two- and four-legged ... look at my friend's pic folder and you'll know what I mean).

I want to thank all of you for being my friend. If you are my friend, you know it. And also know that with that comes a lot. I will do just about anything for my friends if they need it, and most if they just want it. (I'm having to be careful on that last bit, because I didn't used to differentiate between what my friends needed versus what they wanted. I would go so far as to hurt myself to help others).

I actually have more friends now than I've had in a very long time. Some I've never met, others I just have (in real life anyway). I used to worry about being able to make friends ... used to have a pretty low self image. I find it funny that I let that go and meeting people (great people at that) just seemed to follow. Go figure.

But anyway ... this journal entry is just a big thanks to all of you out there. You mean more to me than you probably know.
