Ewww... Cock n Bull... hehe...

I'm curious as to what you're studying in at school. I'll have to look into this aboriginal spirituality stuff you speak of since I don't really have a religion either. I'm not quite an Atheist, but not quite anything else either.

I'd pick Before Night Falls. Sounds like a cool movie.
psyko514:
Old men who play harmonicas? I've never been there on harmonica night! I guess the main reason I don't like Cock n Bull is cause it's always so freakin' cramped and smoke-filled. Also, I'm not a student, so I don't feel like I fit in with the crowd.

You're doing Art Education at Concordia? Do you know Mel Ledo? Do you enjoy the program? Faye has been thinking of moving here and applying for it as well.
psyko514:
haha... i guess pretty much everyone in the rave scene knows Mel.

Faye's iffy about applying cause of the out of province tuition costs. also, she doesn't speak french so she's had trouble getting a job here.

check out nerve.com....there's plenty where those came from!

love your newyork pics! makes me sad tho....wish i was there! soon enough....

we share the same fantasy. lived in terrigal, just north of sydney, for the good part of a year. most fabulous little beach town. also weird....i worked as a model for artists and art classes there! pretty rough job...being paid obnoxiously to lay around naked! tongue
vuokko:
That class totally makes me want to go there even more!

Sprinkle is wonderful! She's so funny and clever and positive and political about everything.

The first half of Before Night Falls is really good. The rest is not good, plus (minus?) it's really depressing. Didn't see Sense, but am amused by the fact that it came out the same year as Clueless, which was based on the same novel.
leola:
eah, Whitby is a gorgeous little place..... never been to Middlesborough though! wink

yo dude,

i was just wonderin what nyc was like, i totaly wanna go and think i might this summer when i get back, i may go with my mom, now i know thats kinda fucked but she's always wanted to go plus i know she'll flip the bill for everything, but i'm pretty sure i would have to bring someone else too cuz as much as my mom and i get a long i don't think she'd be down for goin to a show at cb's with me. but yeah just wanted to get what you thought of it and all tat jazz

kipdbear156172:
aww...thanks blush kiss

then boyfriend/now hubby was there working with a theatre company teaching stage combat. i joined him 4 months later. we basically just lived. backpacked for about...hmm...A DAY!! we both hated it! we prefer to fully immerse ourselves into a place and become a local, rather than tour around. spent much time in byron bay.....definately in love with that place!! terrigal was very similar but not touristy.

how bout you?
ink:

cvhc1980:
