Here here! If an animal wa suffering in incurable pain we'd all be saying that the kindest thing to do would be to end its misery and put them to sleep. I'm not saying it should be the same for human beings as we have free will and some will choose to live with a degenerative condition if it means they have a goal in life. 'God' created all living things equally, so surely they should all have the same right to a good quality of life, or to end that life if they suffer non stop.
Oh I think I know that Foucault too. scary bloke, rants about self-policing microcosms, has a queer theory? we did him in our semiotics and phenomenology unit. why do dancers need to know this? who knows? Give me Barthes and Saussure any day.
Heylo... haven't been around for a couple of days, I was busy having a lovely birthday, I had the best birthday ever, we went to the penguin park near where I live and we were the only ones there so all the penguins came and sat with us and pecked at us, they were so sweet and were not afraid at all, I'll post the pictures up here soon - thats of the one that tried taking a bite out of my lens didn't do any damage
"Each of us is an autonomous, empowered being whose future is written only by ourselves. We can decide what we do in life, and so should we be able to end it; publically, with our family around, and our dignity intact"
Presiceamundo!
