yeah i dont know, it was supposed to be only 6 weeks. its been longer than that. i read in the paper earlier this week that he ran the bases and was ok. so maybe he will be back soon. i know they are trying to figure out who to send down when he gets back. they are really high on Chris Shelton, a rule 5 pick from Pittsburgh, but i guess he is a candidate to go down, of course he would have to go back to the Pirates, unless they can work a trade. so we'll see what happens.

you do jury trials, i gather. oh well. people figure they are entitled to everything.

of course, i'm a state employee, an attorney in a union. weak as hell for bargaining, of course -- try getting lawyers to agree, or break their duty to their client by going out on strike -- but great on protecting workers. just try to fire me for anything short of murder.

work's ok, family's ok, just dealing with the end of phish, although i'm unfortunately very familiar with coping with the end of whatever my favorite band at the moment is, and will never forget 9 aug. '95.

i'm sorry you regret stuff. maybe someday you will be able to move on and let go... it took me quite a few years to get to where i am now.

A frustrated Oscar Madison... I'm trying to imagine that. Oscar frustrated by his inability to just be Oscar in his native state?
I think that's it.
I hope you can be Oscar soon.
