What a night last night for our boys. I think there was a full moon over LMS in NC! It was the All-Star race (the Winston) and in the Open..where all the shit head drivers compete for one slot in the big show...there was a huge pile up as they were taking the green across the start-finish line. It took out about 10 cars...Sterling won so he moved on to the big race. Ken Schrader won the "fan's choice" to enter as well.
The big race was pretty much the same thing. Kurt Busch made a bone head move while trying to "bump draft" his teammate Biffle, he spun him out and caused a massive pileup. Causalities included your boy. They red flagged and because it's not a points race, let them all work on their cars. Junior had little damage. They inverted the field's top 8. Half of the 16 that were left after the crash. Everyone is pissed at Busch...*giggle* He's an ass anyway.
Ryan Newman was outstanding, but no one could touch Matt Kenseth, and he went on to win it. Stewart must be on some new type of medication, he was actually semi-normal. Junior finished fifth, Gordon sixth. Kenseth actually celebrated after he won, which is very unlike him. But the classiest part, everyone congratulated him and said what a good person Matt was. Newman even ran across the grassy lawn to shake his hand...it's nice to see all the "young guns" so close.
Maybe that's my chick-sensitive side coming through.
