anyways, your thesis sounds really interesting, and I wish it wasn't so early or i had a more articulate response, but hopefully all went well. i'd like to hear about it more if (when!) we meet.
That doesn't sound like a day wasted to me, it sounds like a day seized and enjoyed to its fullest.
So, how'd the compilation of the thesis work out? It seems as if you had all of your material there and at least something of a gameplan ... something I never seemed to have, but always pulled it out in the end.
I hope it turned out well, which I'm fairly certain that it did.
Best of luck with Saturday!
there are two ways to go:
the first is use your everyday bike, if it is fixed gear then u have an advantage, then just use your front brake, when braking is needed, this is what I do.
or
have a beater bike built up. so that it is either fixed of single speed and has a rear brake hooked up, and have the brake on the left side.
we have a few people with dedicated bikes that are fixed gear, with rear brakes, and really low gearing just for polo.
