Good morning! I know things with **** didn't work out, but the one thing I always have to remember is everyone comes into your life for a reason. I know it sounds very cliche, but it is true. Whether they are there for a minute or forever, they will touch your life some way, will change you and your opinion of things in some way or the other. I'm not going to tell you there are other fish in the sea, you know my opinions on that whole situation.

I think it is great that you are organizing all of those events....too bad you aren't down here in the south, we could use some more events! Especially in Charlotte....maybe I should work on that.....

My heart goes out to you, friend! It seems most of my friend base are having female problems en masse. I've been in situations similar to yours and 9 times out of ten, I've always felt like a twit for sitting by the telephone, staring at the receiver.

I have no doubts that she's a vision worthy of being kept up at 4am... Best of luck keeping the PDX Geezers event ball rolling! Participation in CT leaves a lot to be desired so, establishing momentum in events takes work. Most of all, I hope you're well.

i admire your general optamism in this situation. i'm not great at advice, but i would encourage you to keep being social and keep having fun. it's a weakness of mine at times, but i've rarely regretted making new friends.
