You're turning yet another corner. It's located at My Parents Need Me Lane and The Past Is Gone Street.

You're a good son.

aw.
i saw my dad on monday and now that i think about it, it was right when i turned 30 that we both really opened up to eachother. i realized then that i could tell him anything and not worry about him being angry about it. we are both very aware of the change and enjoy eachother so much now. i also don't worry about disappointing him anymore because he's made it very clear to me how proud he is of me.
it's good stuff.

Letting go of the past and what the past has built the living moment to be is a hard to do.

When it's realized it can be a wonderous occasion.

I too have recently found a friend in my father and am very thankfull for this experience.

Thanks for your write man, it did me goodsmile

I've walked the same road with my own father and I hope you both continue to get closer.

my dad is diabetic but he claims that playing golf regularly eliminates the need for him to take his meds.

exercise, rest, eating well, and most importantly keeping your spirits up are often far more important than popping pills.

forecasts are calling for a significant south swell to hit socal this friday.
bob_dobalina:
Friday,Sep 16: 5-8 ft. - head high to 3 ft. overhead occasionally 10 ft. and fair-good conditions.

Saturday,Sep 17: 5-7 ft. - head high to 2 ft. overhead occasionally 10 ft. and fair-good conditions.

eeek eeek eeek

i'm so there

i'll probably be leaving the crib around 6:30 or 7 on saturday.

just a word of caution.. i'm not sure if its the best idea to come off a multi-month layoff to paddle out in the biggest swell we've received this summer. also, i'm kinda reluctant to loan you the longboard to use as boards that size tend to get snapped in waves that big. but the minigun is still at your disposal.

edited to add: there's gonna be a really good outdoor party on saturday night.
