So I wanted to write this down, but wasn't sure where to....I think this is as good of place as any.
So I vividly remembered a dream from sleeping in this morning, and wanted to report. It wasn't lucid, but first person.
It began with a party of some sort. Being the beginning it's harder to remember, but this party involved arcade style video games. But when you played the game, you were like inside it. Like... a Roller Coaster that you'd ride and have to jump over certain parts of broken track, but you were actually inside the roller coaster riding it. The party was fun, but it was far away from home. (I guess like Jersey or something).
So one ride on the roller coaster I miss a jump, and though that would normally cause the car to fall all the way down and lose the game, I caught a track all the way at the bottom of the playing field keeping me barely afloat. I didn't miss another jump and at the end of the obstacles I was thrust through this incredibly huge hill and swirled through hoops and turns at ridiculous speeds.
All of the sudden the ride had stopped and I was walking with three trails in front of me. I chose the middle trail which took high ground so I could see what was going on and then took the middle road again at the next crossroads about 20 feet ahead. After taking the middle again I ran into my friends who said, "How'd you get here?"
I said, "What do you mean? I've been here, did I miss something from the party?"
My friend replied, "You missed the party! We're back home! How did you get here? We thought we left you at the party but couldn't find you, we were worried about you!"
I recanted my experience with the roller coaster and we came to a conclusion that it was some sort of portal that allowed me to span the 4th dimension.
Next thing I know I wake up in a hotel style room and a weird man explains to me that I was kidnapped by him and his colleagues, who apparently are time traveling aliens, because I was the first human to travel through time. They are interested in how I will interact, figure out, and use their technology, so they give me a bed that has tubes in it. The tubes are like an advanced version of the roller coaster game where they take you to particular time and place...it's a portal. Like Quantam Leap or something, but not as hokey looking.
Anyway, I try a few things, and though I never figure out how to read the damn things to know where I'm going before I get there, (because I was trying to travel back to the American 70's...) I learn how Humans in the future are enslaved by this time travelling alien race.
So when I get to a place where there is military equipment and weapons and stuff, I get two other humans to plot an escape plan with me, hijack a passanger/fighter jet, burn the spaceport (or whatever it was) down, and hand to hand fight much of the aliens.
OH, and I found a GL2 that I was able to film a majority of the escape on, hoping that if I travelled through time again I would be able to report what is going to, or what did happen. To be honest, I wasn't sure of what the consequences of my actions were, I just didn't want to be a slave or an experiment of some alien race.
Then I woke up.
