In other news, this past weekend I went to PA to visit my maternal grandmother and help clean up her house. It looked...empty. My grandparents lived there for almost twenty years. I spent many vacations there in that time. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, various summer trips, and a couple spring trips.

So many memories of that house & the yard. Here my grandfather tried to teach me how to back up a trailer with the Cub Cadet. Over there is the tomato patch that the deer ate from every single year. Here's the bathroom my grandfather built between the garage & the kitchen so he wouldn't have to track sawdust through the kitchen, dining room, and hallway.

This past weekend also marked the first time I used the master bathroom & the second time I set foot in the master bedroom. It was just understood you did NOT enter Grammy & Grampa's room for any reason unless invited.

I'm going to miss that house.
