Opening up about something and the other person not getting it is sad norm that we all deal with. Stay aware and honest with yourself. *** In an area with good public trans not driving might be option. Find a non medicated way to turn that anxiety into a healthy caution. About 12 years ago I found myself going backwards down a median in an 18 wheeler ( { gotta love ice} and I'd been driving them for 15 years at that time); looked at what went wrong and then try not to repeat it. ***The high school to functioning adult transition sucks. Best of luck.
