If you had read my blogs during the holidays, you might realize I love to understand how holidays come about.

Easter is no different. My mom is southern baptist, so Easter was always a confusion of the bible, Easter egg hunts, and bunnies that hide the eggs. As a kid, that does kind of get confusing.

So without further a due, if you would like to read up where the holiday came from here ya go.

You could also find out about the definition of ado and find out a little history behind it. While saying that might seem like I'm trying to be all know-it-all and grammar Nazi, I actually am just saying it's something I like to do also. Like for example where the word "ado" came from. Is it french? Does it come from Latin? What age did it's use come about from? What was the lifestyle like back then and did that have anything to do with anything? What does the phrase "Much Ado About Nothing" really mean? I mean, I always thought it meant delay, but if "ado" means delay, how can the much ado about nothing phrase make any sense at all? How did it come to be such a popular phrase when there's other words that mean exactly the same thing and could easily be substituted? If you're inquisitive enough looking into anything that seems so mundane becomes fascinating. biggrin
