I used to live in NOLA as well. I was in Ohio when everything happened, though. Hope our friend gets back on track soon. (pun intended) Equipment is expensive!

you know... Trent Reznor (who was also living in NO when this happened to him, i believe) left one of his favorite old keyboard thingies (i dont know exactly what it was...) in his car with the window down and it got rained on. he ended up liking the new warped sounds it made even better than the way it was supposed to be. he still uses it to this day. fun stuff.
