I miss Daria. I still catch myself watching Saved by the Bell. lol
The only "current" show i watch regularly is GhostHunters. I cant get enough of it. O_O
khorsaun:
When I was younger, all I ever read were comics and storybooks. But lately, I find myself leaning toward more philosophical and esoteric books.
The one I've been reading here lately is The Book Of Five Rings by Mushashi Miyamoto, arguably the greatest samurai swordsman who ever lived. He fought over 60 duels, many to the death, and won all but one (the one non-win was a draw to a fighter using a staff).
Anyway, at the end of his life he retired to a cave in the mountains and lived the life of a hermit. It was there he wrote The Book of FIve Rings., which was his views on strategy, philosophy, and the martial arts. Many Japanese buisnessmen read and use the strategies in this book in their buiness dealings to this day
And I do have to say, this is a pretty heavy read. It's only a couple of hundred pages long, but it's taking me forever to read it, simply because, even with few words, there is ALOT to absorb from it.
Well? You wanted to know what I was reading. LOL

I watched a profound amount of television in the 90s, but my parents didn't get cable for a while, so I didn't get introduced to Daria until later. I loved her. She was my cartoon savior.

Did you ever watch The Critic? It was an animated series that only went for a few seasons. The writing was drum tight.

Good to see your scars healing up! I can't imagine what recovery is like, but I wish you the best in your journey.
user209834982:
I'm reading on school books at the moment, but I did just buy a book about a girl and her vibrator.

joeyny:

anarchie:
I downloaded every episode of Daria and watch it all the time. I love it.
thefreddy:
I know that they use to run Daria reruns on The N a while back. I don't think they do it anymore.
kav:
Daria = So incredible it's unfathomable.
khoos:
Currently reading: In defense of food - by the same guy who did An Omnivore's Dilemma (both fantastic books)
Just finished: Diva's don't knit - which was pretty good, as far as pointless trashy fiction goes...

I need your surgeon's name. I mentioned to my midwife that I was going to get my boobs reduced once I was done nursing bebe #2 and she said she'd recommend a surgeon if she knew a good one but she didn't, and I said that's ok, because I know a great one in Ridgewood... So she asked if I could get his name for her, so she can pass it on to others.
gigantits:
Suri you are such a strong girl. Your sweater cats look darn smashing if you ask me wink I hope you are well. I never get to chat with you anymore frown What about that trip to Toronto? When is that going down??
timber_:
oh man i miss daria! i loved that show. good stuff.
corinthia:
Roseanne really was awesome. I'd have to say its' my all-time favorite sitcom, not exactly my favorite type of TV, but as far as sitcoms go it was pretty unbeatable.
mydogfarted:
I saw David (Johnny Galecki)'s penis.
cockzombie:
are you losing weight?

I'm watching this show on AE: Hoarders. It's super scary to me because I know my grandma is one TO THE MAX, and my mom has it kind of under control, but man oh man, can I relate to these people. I am actually watching a lot of tv recently, because I've been feeling really ill. I have some energy back that I was robbed of my first trimester, and there is a synchronized swimming class at the YMCA that sounds just kitschy enough to make me wanna exercise, so I am going to start going to that next week.

Love you girl, thanks for the birthday wishes kiss
franzipan:
I heart Daria. I fancy Jane

I am currently reading "The gathering storm" by Winston Churchill - one of 6 volumes he wrote about the second world war.
Very interesting smile

You're scars look lovely by the way
xx
_pauly_:
I have'nt seen Daria in AAAAAGES. I used to watch it all the time.

At the moment i'm reading (Or Re-reading) Cormac McCarthy's "The Road" in preperation for the film thats coming out later this year. I can't wait smile

kiss kiss kiss kiss kiss
lottey:
Ahh Daria, how i miss that show. I may have to download them!

I'm reading the Twilight saga, on the last book at the moment.
I put it off for months thinking it would just be 'gay and emo' lol, and to an extent it kinda is but it's awesome at the same time. I watched the film and it wasn't a patch on the book but i guess they had to stick to more of the love story and less of the action so it would appeal to all those 12 year old Robert Pattinson lovers tongue
_dallas_:
im reading harry potter. onto book 5! weee!

also, i know its touchy and im sorry, but i wanted to let you know how much i truly admire you! you seem so strong and so brave, and things like this are never simple, but you didnt just quite and fall apart. you are working hard to maintain yourself, and that takes great courage!

we are tie-dying pink shirts next week at my salon for breast cancer awareness month, and i just wanted to let you know that all month i will have a pink ribbon on my station mirror with your name on it, right next to one for my aunt. take care! youre still just as gorgeous!

p.s. i miss Daria! she was the shit!
avidity:
your scar does look good honey.
daria rules, you can buy the seasons on amazon smile
leannan:
my booty misses you.

fact<3.
smythe:
Your nips are super awesome! The color of your scars around the areola are the same color as the tattoo I have on my nipple. Yep, yep, they sure look swell. I think it's really awesome that you are letting everyone see your healing process.
