I am tempted to do what you said... but it is scary. And I'll have to decide where to go first! But I will be thinking about it. I have got a couple of half-formed ideas. Did you know much about Vancouver before you moved there, or did you choose it at random?
I could certainly do with quitting my job, it's rubbish.
Hope that you manage to do some reconciling re the possible love interest. Sounds a bit tricky, but at least it sounds like you know what you want. Which is often half the battle; or at least it is with me, but I am King Indecisive sometimes.
