i finished reading a good book the other day. it's called "Four Arguments for the Elimination of Television" by Jerry Mander. it was suprising how it wasn't really that outdated even though it was written in the late 1970's.

anyway, i was supposed to read it for a mass media class i was taking my sophmore year of college but i was too busy partying to actually read the book. i still did well in the class... but i probably would have enjoyed it more knowing that the basic position my instructor was taking (by the "required reading") mostly matched my own beliefs.

yeah. so... today was a good day. i got complimented way too much for my own good at work... i have another possible job opportunity with the potential to make a decent amount more money + travel pay + car allowance. all of that seems very tempting to me right now!!! i'll have to wait and see what happens with that.

i also got to talk to someone i love and care about very much through emails and on the phone for a little while today, too, and it made me very, very happy. i miss her so much. i'm going to leave it at that for this entry, though...
