Hi. Sorry that I kinda got the evil death flu before I could pop back with a response. Yay for birthday numbers! I have a fondness for my birthday number as well. I recently read a really interesting book regarding birth numbers, but I'm a dork and have drawn a blank on the author and title, but I found it very fascinating, and it was scary, cool dead-on in a lot of ways. (In fact, I do recall that it was written by the same person who wrote "The Way of the Peaceful Warrior". I would look it up, but I am lazy right now. Lalalalazy!)
Anywhoo . . . I only have moons on my thumbs. I wonder what that means?
Have a terrific trip and a fabulous holiday. *holiday wishes and smiles and hugs*
i used to bite my nails ALL the time ... bloody little stumps, they used to be. ew ew ew. (such a nasty habit!! glad you've stopped! )
i hope you have a good time in jasper. and dont let the train gremlins get to you. they eat your luggage, so i heard.
and about the nail. i choose not to be profound ... i'll be SCIENTIFIC!! the white part that looks like a moon at the base is called the lunula. its where the growing nail connects to the nail bed. and everyone has it. but sometimes its under the cuticle, or even so far under the skin you cant see it. it just depends on where your nails start to grow from.
(yes ... im a nerd)
or, we can just go with ... the bigger it is, the more past lives you have lived. lol
I have no idea what it means, just don't start eating the skin aorund your nails. That's what happened to me, I had the bright idea that picking the skin around my nails would stop me from biting my nails. Didn't work. After many years of doing this, I can't stand showing my hands in public
