Well, you do have such a wonderful girlfriend who takes time out of her busy fucking schedule to take pictures of your fucking babies aka cigars! I don't really like the first picture of them though, but the second one looks cool.
You're prepared for this fatherfood? Ummmm... I am not prepared for the 24+ scrutinizing hours of PAINFUL labor!
oh the list is long and vague but tim kern, nathan kostechko, and patrick someone or other (his porn site name is cornink) are just a few that i discovered on this site. i'm bad with names but i know theres another one in van city. i'm sure when i'm a professional lady and actually have cash to make these dreams of mine happen, i'll get more specific about judging portfolios and you know, remembering names.
so the armpit is that bad eh? one spot for my uni-grad tattoo could be on my upper, inner arm - so that it would show if i had my arm raised. (think: raised and making a fist - fight the power tattoo!) but i'm having trouble coming up with a design since i'm not much for symbols. i also have vague ideas that i'll get electrolysis to get rid of my armpit hair so that i can decorate that space as well but thats probably going to be the kind of intense activity i'll only take when i run out of room for tattoos. it would be stellar though.
backpiece healing totally sucked. i almost kicked my man out of my life for his horrific methods of applying lotion ("LIGHTLY RUB YOU FUCKER!!! LIGHTLYYYYY") and literally kicked him out of bed when he rolled his big man body onto my tender skin one night. its just that the back is connected to eeeeverything else so you can't even just keep still and have it be ok. in the office world i had to sit very tenderly on the edge of my office chair and the smallest things like shaking someones hand were excrutiating. i agree, healing is worse than getting it done.
i know what you mean about big pieces with multiple sessions. yours is super detailed too, so it must have been so annoying repeatedly explaining the process and direction of the art every time someone saw it. especially when each session is just putting down one part of what is, overall, a pretty complicated design. i don't know how many times someone asked me "are you going to colour that in?" no, dumbass, i really like how it looks half shaded and totally unfinished.
i'd watch all the other tattoo'd people go in and come out with reasonably sized, 100% finished tattoos and feel soooo jealous. i think i have to do it at least once, even though all my current plans involve lots of skin, just because it takes a lot of mental endurance to get big pieces and i want to try doing it the easy way for once. although the spot i have picked is in the pubic region so maybe those plans of an easy tattoo are shot out the window..
Well, for your sake, i hope its a boy! lol Cause by the sounds of it, that is what your routing for!! I know even if you got a little girl, you would still love "her" just as much!
As for becoming an apprentice, i hope Larry will be a great teacher for me! I am prepared to draw like crazy (i've been drawing straight for like 2 weeks....) !!! And i don't expect to be handling a machine right away... AND thats if i get the apprenticeship!!! I hope i get it!!!
Gah, your weather is worse than ours!!! (So...cold...) Poor you.
Being a daddy - that's so exciting. Congrats. HOWEVER, you should probably wait a little white to start up your own business... You are going to be one tired man for the next few months.
Congratulations on everything!!! Looks like your life is about to change forever; but in a positive way! Your puppy is adorable and being your own boss does have it's rewards! Take care and also if you can put your hair in rubber band sections you can dread it, a little info for your girlfriend (DreadHeadQuarters.com has everything you need to know, if she is really interested...) Have a great day!
