you are so right about the confidence thing. it is so obvious but i completely forgot about it in all my desperate hopes that they would instantly love me. after i read your comment i went in the next day frontin confidence like all the rest of them (they ARE teenagers, after all) and it made things soooo much easier. i think i'm going to do that for the next bit and hopefully in the meantime i'll figure out exactly wtf to actually DO to be awesome. thanks for your help smile

I have to admit, I don't like the classic martini. The first time I tried one, it just about made me gag.....just like bad bad scotch!

but regardless of what beledi may think, I do like some of the more new age "girlie" martini's. blush blush

ok, I"m gone for the day.....gotta go see if someone can teach me anything about photoshop (I'm a slow learner)! tongue tongue tongue

rising sun just got a bunch of flash in their shop not long ago and i always wondered why. i asked him if they were going to be doing more of that, when i know he often turns people away if the piece they want is (like you said) more about tracing than art. he said it makes people feel comfortable in the shop, which makes sense i suppose. i mean it takes 2-5 months to get in there, i can't see anyone waiting that long for kanji tongue

i know i felt kinda weird asking him to create a custom magnolia tree feminine tattoo after i spent the time waiting for him to talk to me looking at his portfolio, which was all pretty "masculine" and such. it was kind of a risky request, i mean i didn't want him to think/know i was dorky and a total tattoo newb. luckily things worked out but maybe people don't have enough balls to go all out and get custom work? i know the stuff i see peeking out of people's clothes is usually pretty generic.

the OTHER shop i was at just opened not long ago, they have a pretty flashy store front, and sadly i think they're gonna bank on all the people who will settle for something off the wall. this IS regina!
