Times like these, I'm really glad I've built up all those extra saved-your-ass points....I am in SO much trouble when I get to work tomorrow morning. I feel nauseated just thinking about it. I'm hoping that I'll just have my pay docked for a few weeks rather than being fired.
ETA 12/31: Not fired. Some pay docked, not as much as I thought. Mostly I feel the worst about disappointing my boss, since I'm the one he's supposed to be able to count on.

What you're describing here is old school Hells Angels behavior. Have you met any of them? I've just read a couple of Sonny Barger's books, and the earlier one by Hunter S Thompson. Interesting stuff!
