My bday sucked....no one could hang out because of finals...crappy having a bday on a sunday...then again my birthday always came at a bad time:
Middle School: the holiday dance was on my bday
High School: Mads Feaste (choir thing) on my bday
plus it's too close to christmas so I only get one set of presents...which is fine from my friends considering that they are all poor...but my family?! I mean damn! So I told them that if I get combined bday/christmas gifts this year than that's what they can expect next year...totally no fair to me!!
BLAH! Anyway...I was up in manassas the day before my birthday (for mads feaste of course) and hung out with my friends Mike and Katii....went to Sweetwater Tavern which is like my favorite restaurant...mmmmbrownbuttersaucemmmm...hell yeah! It was awesome fun...I hadn't seen Mike since Tommy's dad's funeral last year and I hadn't talked to him...at least not really talked to him since a year before that...two years...actually almost three. I mean we'd talk online every now and then but he's in Newport News and I'm in lovely Richmond so blah. Found out that he's putting out his first CD, acustic guitar (think John Mayer type) and he's got a beautiful voice... he actually gave me the first copy of his cd, signed so when he gets famous I'm thinking ebay... Also started a fan website for him...trying to get the word out

I'm getting real into it...I like having projects...and he actually asked me to be his manager, totally thinking about it...if I can do it that would rock!
So yeah...I'm back in Manassas right now and going to Harrisonburg tomorrow with the fam for christmas with my dad's side at his brother's house... most of the fam will be there...my dad is the oldest of five boys (all of them are married and only one doesn't have kids) and four of the five will be there with their wives/kids...I'm excited cause I haven't seen my uncle Bobby, aunt Kim, and their kids Christian and Colton in forever....they live in Pink Hill, North Carolina....my dads youngest brother Brooks/his wife Polly and their kids Maureen/Alex/Nick won't be there...sadness...they live in Chicago and don't get to come down too often which totally blows...
anyway...don't know why anyone would care but I thought I'd just go ahead and share for the hell of it...now I'm going to be cause my contacts are getting dry.
