ok i know this sounds crazy but its just happened one too many times now for me to just call it coincidence. my TV....is psychic. i know i know how can an inanimate object be psychic? and i dont know, maybe its NOT maybe its the guys at the cable company whore psychic but SOMETHINGS goin on. not just recently, but going back many years, id have weird times where out of nowhere, a scene from a particular show/movie would pop into my head and then later that day that same show/movie would be on. and for a long time i just said "well that episode hadnt been on for awhile so it was about due. nothing strange about that" but i dunno, it sure hppened a LOT (and that may be a totally diffenernt thing, perhaps reflecting on MY psychic ability and not the TV's but who knows). anyway more recently, like in the last year and a half, when a scene popped into my head and the show came on, that particular scene was usually unimportant, but the episode/movie itself dealt exactly with some worry or problem i was facing. almost as if to advise me on how to deal with it. now my theory: i think the universe sort of does its part and reveals things to you that you need to see, for one reason or another, in any way it can. and since i dont really DO anything but sit around all day in front of the tv, i think the universe figured out my pattern and, with the tv as the primary option, is using it as its medium of communication. 
im not saying that IS whats happening but it happens too often for me to say its simply chance
now im not very religous mind you. i do have my own set of beliefs based on my personal experiences, and not nessecarily following any particular organized religion (note how i say "the universe" and not <insert deity name here> ). i dont know if theres one big thing out there (ie: God or Allah) or lotsa little ones (like the Greek gods or the Pagan gods), but suffice to say...sometimes some pretty funky shit happens that no one can prove and/or explain (whether or not the thing with my tv is one of them i have no idea), so i figure something out there is pullin' some strings. *Twilight Zone theme music plays*
