Ugh, good God. Well, I went to the orientation for my new job, and my first night is tonight. 10pm to 6am. And I could not hardly sleep all day today. I think if my body knows that I'm really TRYING to go to sleep then it refuses. It's really vindictive. *smirk* I'm going to be hurting SO bad when I go to work in a couple of hours, please wish me luck...
Last weekend, I finally got in contact with a very sweet deaf friend of mine; I hadn't heard from her in probably over a year. Reason why I hadn't heard from her is because she was beaten and almost killed by her now-ex-boyfriend. I'll probably write more about that later, I don't have the energy to discuss it now. It's just sickening. I told the story to another friend the other day and I cried for about a half-hour while I was telling the story.
