just seen king kong...
know what i hate about the censors who decide what we can and cant watch and at what age we can and cant watch it... they're full of shit
i would not take a 12 year old to se that film... bits are extremely violent and harsh... yes it a monkey versus a dinosaur or a giant mutant worm.... but... its still a little much
but because the studio would have applied pressure and maybe a sizable sum of cash
they put a 12 rating on it....whys that... because the amount of revenue they would lose making it a 15.... the entire christmas child audience in ticket sales... not to mention the merchandising etc. and that film has so much blatant merchandising opportunities...
dont get me wrong... its an great film... and he's an amazing director... and the special effects are the best i've ever seen... but the sheer number of unnecessary monsters in it reaches joke point... all for the toys....
but anyway... i get off my point.... censors are just hypocrites who monopolise a system for corrupt reasons.... fuckers...
but dont get me wrong... its well worth seeing... at the cinema... dont care what set up you have... unless you have a cinema in your house... the biggest telly and the loudest sound system wont do it justice
