I don't believe there's a formula to life, or some particular guideline that keeps us all following the same protocol. Maybe some people mature faster, maybe they had a support system that kept them reaching for the brass ring, or maybe your development is meant to pace slower than others simply because you're content with life.

As the old adage states, if it ain't broke, don't fix it." You'll change when you're afraid of staying the same.

Not at all, everyone is different and we all go through things at different times of our life. It goes for everything, some have kids at age 16, some at 40, some don't have children at all.
Besides that what you want in life and who you are will change as you grow. I am definitely not who I was ten years ago and I certainly don't want the same things I wanted then. Embrace it, discovering yourself and what you want is wonderful! smile
