wow that's amazing what you and your partner did. I don't know that I would've reacted as bravely. I'm sure your family is just as impressed. They are just being stupid in the way that they are showing it. Don't let that take away from your proud moment. You deserve it. smile

wow congrats on the honors, im sorry your family sucks frown
doxie:
Invite 6 friends?

It sounds kind of like my family. Or as in my case my grandma wanted so bad to come to my graduation but my dad told her he was staying the night in Radford so she wouldn't go. And he didn't stay. He just didn't want to ride 2 hours with my grandparents.

I'm sorry your family won't come. I would come. That is such an honor.

First off, I just want to say that you ROCK!!!!! Now I don't say that because of this one "recognized by the man" heroic act. But because you go out and do what you do every day!!

Total bummer about your family not wanting or being willing to come to the ceremony. As a suggestion, I say invite the six hottest ladies you know to attend so that everyone who's there will know what a bad a$$ you are smile

If you ever make your way down to the Jerz shore be sure to hit me up. Cause this good ole boy will buy you a beer, or two, or three!

my goodness dear, that is both incredible and devastating in several different ways.

it's hard when the people we care about let us down, that's for damn sure and although it may not offer much comfort right this minute, know that you're doing an amazing job that others appreciate. i concur with the other comments, invite friends if you can. there's always a handful of people we can almost always count on somewhere in our lives...

i'm rambling. i hope you feel better darling. kiss

I agree with doxie invite 6 friends. Sometimes I feel closer to my friends than my family. Enjoy your day and have fun, it's all about you on that day.
