I keep almost calling you... I am going to grow some balls and do it tomorrow.... I PROMISE! I would do it today... But I have class tonight and I have to write an entire paper in the span of one afternoon...
I am practically a SG virgin as well.. I met... only a couple people on my list.. I will meet you... must, have too, can't wait..etc...
As for your move... I say start packing stuff you don't use everyday...NOW.. I moved in 2 days when we bought the house here.. AND IT SUCKED SO BAD!!!!!!! If it is at all possible make arrangements for the Mini You to be with a sitter or family member too.. I recall that being... NO FUN having the little beasty under my feet...
Congrats on the JOB...Yay! I need to find one of those...
I totally understand the toddler thing...
I am reading a book called. Blink... It about how are brains already have made decisions we agonize over for days with the first few minutes of experiencing the problem... Interesting...
BTW... I like the new Alias... even though it confused me a bit..
i like how you mispelled my name, so that should be a dead link (now no one will get to see what a sexy bitch i am!!!).
oh i know-the bow tie!!! if you think just the thought is painfully cute, you should now know it is a plush red and white striped tie!!! when my roommate first put it on her (she didn't tell me) i thought there was a stuffed animal somehow stuck to her. oh check my pix (the "dynamite with a laserbeam" folder) for a shot of her with it on-you will croak.
you should visit me a work-give me a call-i work mon/tues/sat nights.
*new name*
My granddaddy (mothers side) died when I was a few months old...it has sort of always upset me that I never got to know him (although I did get to meet his parents)
So I take it you are going out to moms tomorrow? I am hoping that I can make it...just to get to meet some more people (and see the people I have met)
I guess the movie version of The Da Vinci Code is in the works. I hope the movie is better than the book.
I love your name. Hate squids. I have an irrational fear of them. But love your name.
Well last nights pepperoni pizza is still in the fridge. I just prefer in the morning to grab the whole left over pack and proceed to get my keyboard greasy
I hate the whole ocean, too. I like looking at it from afar. And I like thinking about liking sailing. But I don't. Well, I've never actually been sailing, but....*shudders*
I'll pose on your minivan for a nominal fee.
I knew I forgot something. I don't think I've ever seen what you're talking about, but I saw some drawings or something of the giant squid with one eye.
Okay, now I'm going to go have a panic attack. Excuse me.
Aww. *hugs* thanks for the comment you're lovely also. You guys should come visit me at work sometime, toy store and all you know. Mostly everyone I've met from SG I've ended up meeting at Nocturne at Shampoo on wednesday nights. Squeak is usually there and so is Zenfinite. I also know a couple more people that I've randomly met from down my way in DE.
I totally agree with you on the DaVinci Code. The conspiracy theory is interesting but the plot and character development sucked ass. I totally knew what the stupid plot points were going to be from the beginning.
I always figure that whenever I am suppose to be moving I try and pack the bits and pieces that I don't use all that often first. But I usually will go through and sort stuff to see how much I can just chuck so I don't have to pack it at all. It's all about organization really...good luck!
I chose not to read the DaVinci code - I think I am a better person for it...that being said, don't make yourself crazy packing just yet, wait until a few weeks before your move date and then just go room by room, methodically without getting caught up in the final result. We have moved A LOT in the past 5 years and it is amazing what becomes necessity and what you are willing to leave behind after enough times.
to you and yours.
No fair. You had better be sending me brownies now. With all your drool-inspiring brownie talk. Evil.
As for the lamp thing -- I'll see what I can do. Getting a "Thank you" seems infinitely better than a "I'm going to kill you in your sleep." So we could be on good terms. I guess the toaster hasn't gotten to it yet. We had a falling out several years back and never recovered from it.
and i haven't moved in like 12 years so i forget how to @_@
also id meet you. however, im not exactly a super bundle of fun and such. i can be, but these days i just kinda sit there and contemplate
but i hope u get to meet some people. have a great week. and woo does mondays make me sleepy
